Merchandise Returns Policy
Merchandise items purchased from the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada may be returned to the Institute within 30 days of delivery of your shipment. You may return unused merchandise items to the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada, for a full refund given that your returned item meets the criteria listed below:
- Any merchandise item in its original condition within 30 days of date listed on the enclosed invoice.
- Any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) CD, DVD, VHS tape, or book
- We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased from the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada
- All returns must be accompanied by the original invoice received in shipment.
Please note that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item being returned was not the item ordered by the customer and where the error rests with Jane Goodall Institute of Canada.
Non returnable or non refundable Policy:
- The Institute will not exchange or refund items returned more than 30 days of the date indicated on the invoice.
- Donations, Memberships, chimp guardian support and educational resources are non refundable
- The Jane Goodall Institute will not exchange one item for another or credit your account
- We will not accept the return of opened items
Replacement of Damaged or Defective Items:
The Jane Goodall Institute will replace merchandise items only if they are defective or damaged upon receipt.
Refunds
Please notify the office of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada to forecast the reason for your refund or exchange request as soon as possible and prior to shipment back to the Institute. We will notify you of your refund via e-mail after we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment by check within 14 business days following receipt of your forecasted return.
